King's Vault Pop-Up Bar

This temporary wine bar was created to help promote The King Valley wine region in Victoria. The lofty, character filled building had been earmarked for demolition. The design capitalises on the original features of the warehouse space and clever appropriations of wine related concepts avoid the obvious cliches promoting a friendly, communal drinking experience.
Being mindful of the temporary nature of the venue, everything in the space is either recycable or borrowed reclaimed objects. Pendant light shades made from laser cut cardboard shapes simply slotted together to give the impression of something more permanent.
