An air of Norwegian cool sweeps into Woolloomooloo’s refurbished watering hole revived by a sophisticated muted pastel dining room and bar area, plus a vibrant daffodil-hued al fresco drinking courtyard and balcony.

Channeling maritime themes, detailed brass elements were key to the design approach – particularly the dining room’s custom-made screens – whilst the backlit patchwork ceiling replicating nautical flag patterns serves a dual purpose as an artwork and sound absorber. Beneath, a sea of quilted Scandinavian jackets hug finely oiled timber dining chairs. Their harlequin-stitched patterns echo the ceiling’s ornate details.
