2019  |  RESTAURANT  |  BALMORAL

Perched majestically on Balmoral Beach’s shoreline, the revitalised 1920’s Spanish Mission-style heritage building works a highly sociable Med-luxe vibe with gentrified ease. Lining walls and shelves, contemporary artworks by seminal Australian artists add an emotively sophisticated undercurrent.

Maritime blue stripes float throughout linking the fluid drinking and dining spaces including a lounge bar, all-day bistro, raised chef’s table for 12, formal dining area and kiosk on the ground floor as do appropriations of luxury cruise ship elements. These include: tubular stainless-steel handrails leading to function spaces aloft, cushions tethered to banquettes like fenders, and decking elements incorporated into sound absorbing feature ceilings.
