Views of Ballina’s ocean inlet are now prioritised via a centralised entrance that links a public bar, bistro, terrace and courtyard along its axis, spilling onto a beer garden that laps its shores. New solid timber hardwood beams and timber doors, plus Blackbutt floors provide a framework for marine themes to float. Inset tile patterns migrating from floors to table surfaces nod to Fenwick House, a Victorian mansion built circa late 1800’s that we restored externally. Newly integrated amongst the sprawling site, outdoor settings are tonally tethered to its rejuvenated façade.
