2019 | HOTEL | RESTAURANT | BAR | ARMIDALE
The extensive restoration and rejuvenation of the heritage hotel honours its opulent past whilst resurrecting the patinas of its gilded history. Ornate custom carpets and chandelier designs combined with brass chevron detailing and delicately fluted banquette frames reference Art Deco elements with refined clarity.
Incorporating punchy jewel-toned palettes, repetitive geometric pattern-play and an abundance of rounded edges, the refurbishment included conservation of the façade; the introduction of a courtyard dining/entertaining area, a lounge bar, main dining room and function rooms; plus the creation of a public bar and multi-purpose room and gaming parlour. 25 powdery pastel-hued guest rooms and spacious suites with marble en-suites reside on the upper levels amongst exclusive guest lounges.
