2017 | RESTAURANT | SYDNEY
Inspired by America’s grand 1920’s hotels, The Four Seasons restaurant’s refined design re-interprets the glamour of the jazz-age. Seating upholstered in midnight-blue leather and jade velvet sits upon rippled black and white carpet like exotic pieces in a jewellery box.
Tasked with creating an intimate dining venue, the floor was raised to create one seamless level. Decadent brass and marble accents flow throughout the drinking and dining zones – most notably an impressive central 9-metre long mint-hued bar clad in aged brass. Fluted frosted glass screens curl around tables forming intimate enclosures. Pearl-like Tom Dixon pendant lights float beneath their arching blades, creating a canopy of shelter from the atrium above.
