2022 | BAR | RESTAURANT | CELLAR DOOR | POKOLBIN

Reviving the essence of a traditional colonial homestead through a contemporary lens, the cellar door’s crisp white façade belies the full-bodied warmth of its interior where showcasing wine lay at the heart of its transformation.

Arousing sensorial appeal – visually, through scent and via touch – timber became our primary template with over 10 different species cladding floors plus walls and articulating custom furnishings and joinery to drive a sense of storied authenticity via the maker’s touch. An impressive hang of conceptual Australian photography charges the atmosphere with subjective currency, sparking conversations to accompany the wine tasting experience.
